I did absolutely nothing except sleep for my spring break, only waking up to take a few bites of food and a drink of water or two, and to occasionally use the bathroom. thats it. I have insomnia, so I never sleep, and this week full of sleep was wonderful for me. I feel so extremely recharged from all the stress of school, except for this morning, as I had to return to school.
I do not like school because I can not sleep at school, and also you have to wake up so damn early, who the hell decided that? I mean seriously? but thats off topic, the topic was what did I do for spring break, and my answer is sleep, therefore I deem this blog as finished, seeing as we have nothing further to discuss.

assignment 7
In the next five years I would like to see my self as the CEO of my own record company, a multimedia music studio free of corporate restrictions and censorship. I will be finishing my high school career early as I am going to take the CHSPE test in June this year. So my next year will be all just working to move out, and partying with my great friends.
I am going to be getting a job at Subway in the summer, and this is going to help me in my quest to move out. My girlfriend and I are going to get a little place together and so the rent and bills wont be as tough on us. I hope that in this time period i will have gotten a good band together and my studio founded, and with those accomplishments, i will finally be able to make my own music to my style and liking instead of having to go through corporate pigs that just want to make money destroying your artful creations.
I will be doing all the digital art for the music videos and all the album art myself. I will be playing promotions for earth day and green week and other environmental organizations. I wish to put on a free concert in the spirit of the almighty Wood Stock. I love music, and that is the only answer to my career situation, as since i was a little boy i wanted to be a musician.
I do not intend to attend a college or university because they are simply a waste of money. You can do much better all by your self than with investing your money into a rip off of an education where you will waste half your life trying to regain the money you lost. That is why i am going to be the owner of my own company making my own artistic style of music, under my own artistic imagery. That is where I am going to be in the next five years.

assignment 5
Back Bay is one of my favorite schools that i have ever been to, and iv been to a lot of schools in my time, for example, this is my 4th High School in three years. I like many many things about Back Bay High School, such as the art program, the no homework system, and the fact that there are no freshmen at this school. Freshmen students should not be allowed in high school because they are simply too immature to comprehend much of the material. There should be another year of Middle School where the freshmen are allowed to be stupid.
Anyway, Back Bay's Art program is the best art class I've ever taken. I love the freedom that we have, and are allowed to express, we can draw, paint, or create anything we want, as long as its artistic. Not like my Art class at Cerritos High School, in which we were all instructed to create the same exact picture, every day, every week, there was no freedom of expression. I simply just love the idea of being given credits for being creative in an artistic atmosphere.
My favorite teacher here would probably have to be Mr. Lamar, the art instructor. he plainly gives the students the tools with which to be creative as possible. He does not organize the curriculum in any general class room sense. He allows the students to experiment with their artistic direction. By giving students the tools, and teaching them that they can do what they set out to, it instills a feeling of self accomplishment in the students when they complete a very self-inspired art piece.
I d intend to return to Back Bay High School next year because the program here is extremely easy to follow and remain up to date on, not like at Newport Harbor High School, where i previously attended, which just throws information at you and expect that you will automatically pick it up like all the "smart" kids. I like it better here because there aren't so many stuck up rich kids that think they know everything just because mommy and daddy make a good deal more than most people do. This school is the only school in which I've felt at home, because here everyone is an under- achieving white kid, or an under privileged latino, just like back home in Pasadena. I feel comfortable here.

assignment 3- my favorite thing
My absolute favorite story is the famed "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" by Hunter S. Thompson. It is a true story based on events of Thompson's life as a traveling journalist. Thompson under the alias of Raul Duke and his sidekick slash lawyer Dr. Gonzo were assigned to do a story on the indie 400 off road dirt bike cross country race in Las Vegas. The year is 1971, the country still riling down from the crazed rock and roll fueled energy of the 60's, and Duke and Gonzo decided to make this trip the ultimate savage journey right to the heart of the American dream. This is one of my all time favorite stories because it beautifully portrays the descent into madness that the average psycho-naught undergoes from extreme drug seeking. "After all if you're going to be insane, you might as well make some money at it, otherwise they just lock you up." -Thompson. I just believe that it is a miracle that someone like Thompson can undergo a mental collapse from extreme amounts of drugs and still come out of it with enough sanity to hold it together and write an epic story depicting the bizarre and true events of his life. The wild lifestyle of Hunter S. Thompson portrayed in "Fear and Loathing" is awe inspiring, and absolutely as intense of a read as the trip must have been for Thompson. I believe this is one of the most exciting stories ever written, and i highly recommend it for others to pick up and read.
